Operation Ouch! Food, Poo and You – Groups

Take an unforgettable journey through the digestive system with the Science and Industry Museum's world premiere blockbuster exhibition based on the BBC's award-winning show, Operation Ouch!

Learn about nutrition and digestion with Dr Chris, Dr Xand and Dr Ronx as you go on a special mission to find out where our food goes when we eat. Prepare to be shrunk, swallowed, squeezed through and spat out of Dr Xand's digestive system and discover how our brilliant bodies work through super-sized experiments, playful adventure and hands-on learning.

From bowels to gallbladders, find out more about the role of each organ in the digestive journey, learn how food can fuel us, and investigate the funniest bodily functions.

Explore through hands-on learning experiences tailored to primary-age children, designed to provide memorable early science interactions that help to build confidence in the subject.

Students also have the opportunity to hear from young people living with a range of digestive conditions, along with the modern-day medicine helping to treat them.

Tickets for school and formal education groups cost £5.00 per adult and £4.50 per child.
