Manchester Science Festival

Manchester Science Festival will return from Friday 18 – Sunday 27 October 2024.

Explore some of the biggest questions facing our planet through entertaining events, immersive performances, family fun and hands-on activities across 10 days of inspiring experiences for all ages.

Full details of this year's programme, which will explore our world of 'extremes', will be revealed later in the year, but you can get involved now by taking part in the Brain and Body Study.

Sign up to our newsletter or follow us on Facebook or Twitter to be the first to find out more.

Play brain games in the name of science

Take part in the world's largest online study into the elusive relationship between the brain and body, delivered in collaboration with researchers at Western University, Canada.

Complete a pioneering series of online brain games and help neuroscientists unlock the secret of the mind-body connection.

The findings of this international experiment will be explored at this year's Manchester Science Festival.

How to take part

The study and survey can be completed online at brainbodystudy.com using a desktop, laptop or tablet, though it is not possible to take part using a phone. It takes around 75 minutes to complete, includes fun brain games and cognitive challenges, and will share your results with you at the end.

Anyone who signs up will have a chance to win Amazon vouchers (equivalent to CA$100).

Go to brainbodystudy.com to take part.
