Make a bee line for the Science and Industry Museum this autumn to see a beautiful new painting in our window as part of a new art trail for the city.
Created by the team behind the award-winning Bee in the City, 50 Windows of Creativity will transform the city's windows and spaces into an innovative art gallery.
The trail will feature multiple art forms, from fine art and photography to ceramics, crafts, mosaics and murals, all curated by talented artists, designers, makers and collectives with a connection to Greater Manchester.
Our display by Manchester-based scientific artist and science communicator Kelly Stanford is a celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths. It follows on from her work in 2018 for Bee in the City, when she collaborated with 70 scientists from around the city to create the STEM bee sculpture celebrating Manchester's scientific heritage both past and present.
Visit the Bee in the City website to download a PDF of the trail map, or download the 50 Windows of Creativity app, which will be available from the App Store and on Google Play from 26 October 2020.
