Get Curious: Discover science in our world

Follow your curiosity and learn more about the big ideas and innovations that are changing our world today.

Meet people working in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) and find out more about what they do through fun demonstrations and interactive activities for the whole family to enjoy.

Curious about our climate? Join us on 20 and 21 August for a special Get Curious programme exploring our changing climate and ideas for a better world, part of the Manchester Science Festival Weekender.

Discover the high-tech future of farming with robots, virtual reality and a remote controlled veg garden on Friday 20 August. Dig into climate change with interactives and games to challenge your friends and family on Saturday 21 August.

Look out for our brand-new structure, which will be popping up for each Get Curious event. This colourful and eco-friendly construction was built by local designers No Chintz and funded by Siemens.

Scheduled dates may be subject to change and themes for each activity will be announced soon. Sign up for our newsletter to find out more.
